Re: New Hoster Lite, book from Hoster 3.321

When you install the new version Hoster creates a new songs.mdb by rebuilding the database, this has more fields of data than earlier versions but your Book Id's remain the same. (Providing it doesn't find duplicate BookId or DiscId's in which case it may renumber them)
If all your editing in previous versions was done via Hosters edit dialog then it will be retained in the new version.
If you used another source to edit like Access then when the database is rebuilt you could lose some of those changes.
Once this new database is rebuilt it is no longer compatible with earlier versions.
So if each computer has it's own music files on it's own C:/drive I see no problem but if you are using an external drive with the music files on and switching the same drive from 3.16 version to 5.06 you may find problems as the headers in those files would contain more info and might not work in 3.16.
There is a thread here posted by support regarding downgrading to earlier versions I advise you to read.
