It runs on my old XP from 2004 with 1.5 mb ram.
I think it would struggle with only 480 mb ram.
But then ram is pretty cheap now days.
Why not try the Demo, give you a good idea.
As too your Mac question there are a couple of users running it on bootcamp successfully.
