Re: how do i import a single kma file into hoster ?
One problem that you could have is if they have a Book ID or Disc ID the same as your already imported files then they won't load into version 5.00, it will list them as duplicates. The later version has a Merge duplicates function but if you install that version it will have to rebuild your database.
Using version 5.00 you can add them via the Build database dialog without actually rebuilding the data base. Either paste them into your KMA folder using Windows Explorer, then in the Build Database dialog select that folder in the list of folders in the bottom left window, make sure none of the Karaoke, Audio, Video type buttons are highlighted then press the Rescan button, this will just add the new files, if at the end you get a message that no new files were added then they probable have duplicate Id to previous imports.
Alternately you can just use the "ADD Folder" button above the list window and brows to a separate folder containing these extra files (Make sure you see the kma files listed before pressing the select button) and that will automatically load them into the database again providing they have unique Book and Disc Id's.
Just as a safety precaution to make sure you don't spoil your existing book ids, before doing the above copy your existing songs.mdb file and paste the copy on your desktop. Then if you find anything goes wrong just copy that one and paste back over the original and it will restore it to how it was.
