Are all your kma files on the internal C/ drive ?
If so did you let it finish building the database at it's initial start up ? You should have seen a dialog informing you how many songs were added before Hoster opened the first time of running.

If all your kma files are on an external drive did you have it connected the first time of opening and seen the same rebuild process as above ?

The songs .mdb in this version has more fields of information than earlier versions so if the above was not carried out correct would stop Hoster working correct.

The only other thing I can think of that could cause the must close thing is if there is another program running in the background that are conflicting with Hoster.
One such thing could be a virus or spy ware application that triggers it, try disabling any such programs temporary to see if it still causes the must close problem.
