For any who are also using Karaoke Home Producer(being replaced with Kpro) another alternative would be an audio editing program such as Goldwave (approx. $35.00 US)). In addition to changing the volume of a .wav track you can level the volume between tracks, add silence for countdowns at the beginning of tracks that have no lead in instrumentals, fade in or out, remove scratches from LP's being archived to cd's, and a host of other audio editing tricks.
