I know this thread was started by MrMark who had Hoster Lite, is your version Lite or the full version ? I ask this because in the full version the songbook software allows all sorts of ways to select which tracks to print.
Like Date added, genre, bookk Id, Hide in songbook, etc.
Don't use the exclude folders for this purpose because it removes those files from the database but still retain all their book Id's in the Kma or kmh files. Then if you add new files it will likely use those book ids for the new files, then when you try to bring the previous folder back in you will have duplicated book Id's. This could be where you have gone wrong.
When adding new tracks Hoster adds the next id from what is stored before it, I think that by removing folder it takes it that those book id's are free so start your new imports from there unless you enter your own (Not always a good idea) it has to be a unique # not used previously.
I'm not sure how this is going to affect what happens now if you follow what I said about deleting the songs.mdb.
The only thing I can think of at the moment is to delete all the files that you imported after you used the exclude folders option then try placing that folder back with the add folders option, then do the delete songs .mdb restart hoster, let it rebuild as it should have before, then start adding your new songs after that.
Then use the options of the songbook to select which to print.
