Hoster is taking this as DiskID= SBI and Track= 23252 of disk number 1896. From that point it is using 1896232 and above as the disk number part of the BookID incrementing from that point. This seems to be the reason why you suddenly have such large BookIDs. If you change this filename to SBI23252 (no dash) then add a -01 after that then your BookIDs will not jump up to such a large number.
If you found one duplicate BookID I am sure there are more. You say you don't have any kind of error log file in C:\MTU\Hoster and I don't know why it wouldn't be there if you have duplicates. The only way I could see duplicates even coming up is if when you started over importing that you did not delete all the old KMH files in all the folders.
You did say there is another program on this computer you can use. I would have them use it for now and wait until the next time you can get the computer back to work on this.
There is a big difference in the way Version 5 handles the importing/indexing of files as opposed to how version 4 handled them, but that doesn't mean it is a software bug.
Using 20/20 hindsight since all of these files had been imported in a previous version, then all you needed to do was to Rebuild the database after adding the main folder using the Add Folder/Sub-Folder button. Since the kmh files and database are in the state they are in right now then that won't be possible, because of the duplicate BookIDs and the messed up numbers. We will figure this out and get it working right for you so don't give up on Hoster yet.
Thanks, got it before hoster did. Relabeled that one too.

It's funny that hoster would do this wild jumping, and yes, no duplicates listed in any error. Strangely, the duplicates have a index.txt file saying they were imported... weird.
