Yeah that's kinda what I figured, after your initial post... it's more of a precautionary warning to all others that are starting in the business, and don't realize that computer's are finicky, temperamental, pieces of @?#%, that will drain your wallet, your patience, and make you question why you switched over from cdg's! (*not really )
Hopefully you get it all sorted out, and you can get your friend's computer restored to a happier time! Most of us have been there, and are just passing out hard earned knowledge, that will hopefully save the next guy/gal from incurring the same problem!
