Re: Piece of Crap
As Lonman says, if you don't give full details it is hard to see what you are doing wrong.
First of, is it locking up without Hoster running or is it only locking up only while Hoster is running ?
Next, how are you connecting to your TV monitor ? if it is a laptop are you using the HDMI, VGA, or through an adapter ?
If you have existing KMA files from a previous version of Hoster you can import them from the "Build Database" option.
If they are all in one folder use the ADD Folder button and navigate to that folder, be sure you see the list of kma files in the folder window before pressing select. This will add all those in the database so that you can search on Title or Artist or any other info contained in the file.
In this dialog you can index any of the type of files shown by highlighting them.
If you select "Folders/Sub Folders" and select a drive it will automatically search that drive for any of the types of files you highlighted.
If your computer is locking up because of some of the changes you made you should be able to correct this by restoring the computer to an earlier date. Just to be on the safe side if you do this uninstall Hoster first while connected to the Internet.
Then if it runs without locking up reinstall Hoster and try it again. Then make the recomended changes gradually checking that Hoster performs right before continuing. This way you may find what caused the locking up problem.
