Re: Hoster 5.00: Simple instruction to import zips from hard drive
There are two ways to import your zip karaoke files.
This first way takes longer but allows you to keep all imported file data and names correct.
From Import Songs Tab/Index HD Files, where it says select type As choose "KMH" (as you make selections instructions appear in left column it is possible with 5 to choose if you want to import as KMH or KMA)
Next to Karaoke select "ZIP" after this a window appears to navigate to your folder containing the files to import.
When you see the songs in the window highlight one, it should appear in window next to "fields and separators" If your Disc ID is in the field name it should automatically enter this else you can assign it one or let Hoster create it's own. select the "singles tab" then "Add Files" button.
Check that the names are displaying correctly in the bottom list then tick box "Select All" lastly press "Index Files"
Option 2 :This way is less work but will just import the files from the file names, any editing will have to be done from the edit dialog after.
From "Import Song" tab select "Build database" Next to Karaoke Select "ZIP" then press the add folder button from the window that opens Brows to your folder Make sure you see all the songs in the window, press Select,
The next window opens informing you of it's actions, press OK and your done.
You can check how it listed them in the edit dialog and either edit them or delete them.
