Thanks Lonman!
Beta 12 testing is going excellent, with only minor change/bug reports. Each Beta version has been getting cleaner; what we like to see as we approach releasing to you folks.
I only wish we had ALL the new features we had planned, but the Microsoft changes to how Windows has ALWAYS worked, required more time to fix very nasty bugs that were not in our initial spec or schedule.
I'm excited!
After 5.00 releases, we'll have the usual 5.01, .02, .03 releases to fix reported bugs. With out new Registration web script, we can "pre-date" these so everyone whose Upgrade Install Date allows installing 5.00 can also install the bug fixes. These won't include any more new features than 5.00 has.
There will be a point in time where we stop pure "bug fix releases" and start adding new features. These will release as 5.10, 5.20, etc. Their Release Date and Install Date will be set the same and will require buying an upgrade if your 12-month Upgrade Install Date has passed.
We're getting closer!
