I think that you would be underpowered with only 1GB memory if you want to use the full potential of the latest Hoster.
I am using Windows 7 as shown in my signature with no problems. The only thing I would say is my Windows 7 came already installed on my computer, it was not upgraded from any other versions. I think some people posted problems after upgrading from earlier versions of Windows.
You still have to follow the recommended settings as laid out by MTU to have it run right whatever version of Windows you run with.
