How would you manually change a drive letter? and wouldn't that mean that it's location is now somewhere else on your computer?

Apart from the drive letter the file names are identical to what they were on previous computer and external hard drive and new laptop.
C:\MTU\Hoster\Playlists

Tried also the "-4" thing and that didn't work.
The "Playlist (.hst) files" still need to be in C: in the same Hoster folder they were in before. I am referring to the "music" files only. Where were they to begin with & where are they now? The "music" files that Hoster plays from an "old Playlist" need to be on a drive with the exact same drive letter they were on before (the path used in the Playlist). Example: All my Songs were originally on an external hd that was only 160mg. I moved them all to a new ext. hdd that is 500mg. My original drive was "K", so my new drive also had to be named "K" because that is the "path" followed by Hoster when you access old playlists.

How to change a path is in also in the Manual. Go to: START, then right-click on My Computer, click on "Manage", then on the left side-see "Disk Management" and click on it. On the right, you will see all the drives that are connected to your machine - Right-click on the one you want to change - you will see "Change Drive Letter and Path". Pick the letter you want it to be (the same letter as the old drive that had your songs on before).
