Dale,
When i turned on the power, the power supply fan and light would, plus the cpu fan would run. Also, you could hear some programs loading, but no usual beeps.
When I opened the side of my wife's computer, I took off the wires to the hard drive and put them on mine. When I turn on her computer, it opens as if it were mine. In fact I'm using it right now. The nice thing about this is I was able to go in and download everything I needed to an external hard drive.
Need to get going... I have a new computer to put together.
