Re: KMA vs KMH

The KMH is using the original file (MP3, ZIP, AVI, etc.) and adding a 256 byte file with a KMH extension to the same folder. The KMH file contains the header information that is normally inserted at the beginning of a KMA file. This allows you to be able to use the original files in Hoster and other programs if you so desire.
KMA files are the header information plus the song file copied into the KMA file. This leaves the original file as a second copy, taking up twice the space on the hard drive. This is the only way that you can import CDG files from your CD drive, so those cannot be done as a KMH.
Keep in mind that KMH is only used for compressed audio files, karaoke files (MP3+G, WMA+G, ZIP) and video files (AVI, MPG, etc). If you want to go back and change those types to KMH that can be done or you can leave the ones you have as KMA and only do all new imports of those types as KMH. The decision is yours.
