My laptop card is an nVidia 8600 GT with 512 vid ram which handles the laptop screen and extended monitor.

I started Hoster program and it displayed the singer screen to monitor #2 like I configured it last night, I then closed Hoster and disconnected the USB video card and started Hoster program again and it automatically Displayed the singers screen to monitor #3., I then move the Singers display screen to my laptop dragged it back to monitor #3 clicked to full screen tested with a problem file and tested good with lyrics screen.

I then plugged the USB Video Card and monitor back in and tested again and this time the lyrics scrambled in monitor #3.

I bought this card three months ago and paid $69.00 for it...

The only problem is that my DJ program and other software won't run on the available 16meg of built in memory the USB video card has, haven't tried my controllers yet, but between all the monitors and projectors on the venues that I usually run, it would not be possible using this setup.

Another problem is I also have to figure out a way to route and plug in the USB card to the VGA splitter, then I also have to worry about all the many other programs I have that may not work properly with this setup..

I know they work properly with my internal card no question.

Hoster program gets mixed up when the USB card is activated and gets allocated to Display monitor #2, that is when the issue starts, even though it still renders in the extended singers display #3 monitor the conflict is evident.

This is what I've been Saying all along Hoster is programmed to monitor #2 and since the USB monitor is Display #2 this is why it plays normally as per a test requested by Roy on a previous post.

There is a place in the registry that points Hoster program to the #2 Display monitor, changing that pointer to Display monitor #3, will solve the problem.

Will I get help with this from the MTU staff....?

Thanks guys
Joe
