This is Rikki Tikki and not DDouglas, but maybe can help a little... now that you have your signal amplified with the RS Product, go back to your Grandtec converter and play with the Brightness, Hue, Contrast controls, to make fine adjustments to help solve your Resolution Control of the on-screen lyrics... I have had faint letters ( usually white ) show up on some of the cdg manufacturers from a while back. The odd coloration, could be satisfied for your clientele if you tweak the converter controls, so that the singer display matches your computer monitor... don't discount the use of good quality connections, and cabling in repairing this issue... use the knowledge of the KJ Vets that are trying to help you, without incurring the same problems, that we too, at one time had to overcome! We were all there once !!!
