Microstudio key change

With Microstudio can I upload a regular cd, change the key and burn it to a cd?

Yes, you can.

A little explanation please.

Bryant, are you saying that Microstudio creates Keychanged files for burning onto an Audio CD?

My understanding is that all key change features in Microstudio are Real-Time, or performance only.

Since Microstudio can record performances I guess you could go through the trouble of recording all the songs, key-changed, and use the resultant files to create a new cd. But isn't using a program like Keyrite preferable?

Maybe I misunderstood:w

That's the way I would do it. Import it with Microstudio, use Keyrite to change the key and reburn it with Microstudio.

Microstudio key change

So I need to buy both Keyrite and Microstudio to change the key of a regular cd and burn it? Is there a way to do this for less than $100? I only need to do 3 or 4 songs for our band.

I'm being careful

You kind of involved yourself in products that will do what you need, but so much more. If you have no need for graphics, then one product, mentioned several times in these forums, Goldwave, will do the job. (I assume that the fact that you have a cd burner means you can rip and burn wave files to disc-some software like that comes with every burner. And if not I'm sure you can find some 1x Demo)

Of course, Microstudio and Keyrite will do the job in a moments notice.
