Playing Files with Hard Drive Karaoke Player
I have a new Karaoke player that allows hookup of external hard drive by USB. Can I use Hoster to rip my cdg disks to my external hard drive and then play the cdg files directly off it with my Karaoke player?

Your Karaoke player will no be able to read the Hoster KMA files. If your going to use Hoster why not computerize all the way and stop carrying those CDs and player.
Just out of curiousity what kind of player is this? |
Player
The Player is a Acesonic DGX-506 5 Tray USB DVD/ VCD/ CDG/ MP4 / WMA Karaoke Player with SD/MMC Reader. I want to put all my CD+G discs on a Hard Drive and use that instead of the discs. I guess this software is not what I need.

I think your misreading the specs on this unit. It doesn't support USB Hard drives. It will read from Memory Cards (Flash Drives), IPod,and MP3/MP4 players. USB hard drives do not work the same as those units do.
If you want to stop carrying all those discs around then Hoster is the right product. All you need is a computer or laptop (read the minimum requirements on MTU website), your existing sound system, and Hoster. Many people use laptops for the size. I prefer a Shuttle size desktop. And if possible use XP for less problems. You won't be disappointed. |
buy Hoster Full Version !!!
