PlexTools, Install or Not?

Does anyone know if its OK to install all the PlexTools that come with the Plextor PX-W2410TA and still copy CD+G? I'm not even sure whats on the disk yet, only I didn't want to install it all and then find out it's changed my registry or something and it won't then do the job.

Cheers, Garry.

To tell you the truth, you don't have to install this software. I actually never have installed this before. I am not sure if it will cause a problem or not. If your running fine without it, I would probably not install it.

Hi Garry I also have plextor 2410 with plextools installed, works fine. I have found plextools useful for copying damaged CD+G at reduced speed option of 12x. Does not interfere with microstudio although you will need to enable auto insert to get it to work then disable auto insert when returning to microstudio regards Mike :)

Thanx Mike,

Q. If you have to enable auto insert to get it plextools to work, and it helps with CD+G's, but you have do diable auto insert to use MTU, how does that work?

Cheers, Garry

Hi Garry, With regard to auto insert 'off` when using microstudio this is recommended setting by MTU. I would assume it is to prevent interruptions from other programs which use auto insert ie. real player or windows media player.

regards Mike:)
