monitor
hi all
hope you can help.for some reason i cannot get my hoster lite program to drag from my laptop onto my secondry monitor for my karaoke singers to use.everything is right i have checked the leads there ok.but the second monitor is a different colourwhen the hoster kicks in on my laptop the 2nd monitor goes into sleep mode (my wife says i know how it feels lol )can anyone help regards john (blackcat ):f |
Are you seeing the Windows background on the second monitor, or just a blank screen?
If the monitor is going into sleep mode this is a control setting on that monitor that you should be able to turn off. If you are seeing the Windows desktop background then start a song and double click on the lyrics display to send it to the second monitor. |

is saying media cable faliure i have tried 4 brand new cables ad it is saying the same thing thanks john |
Is this a TV or computer monitor?
|
hi dale its a computer monitor
|
You have set the computer for two monitors and using extended desktop I hope.
If so and those settings are still correct and you have tried 4 different cables I would suggest you have the monitor checked out? |

Another possible but rare cause is the video out on your computer may have failed; bad connector, broken printed circuit trace, failed logic chips, etc. |
