|
How did you delete them?
If you didn't delete them through the Tools/Edit Songs then that is where you need to do this so it will free up the BookIDs. |
Tools/edit
Dale,
My Name Is Richard, Thanks For Your Quick Reply. Unfortunetly I Did As The Manual Said And Deleted Them In The Tools/ Edit Section. The Reasone I Did It Was The 2 Cd's I Recorded Were Bad So When I Got The Replacement Ones I Delated And Then Re Loaded Them But Could Not Use The Same Book Id |
You should have just reimported the disc it would have overwritten the bad file. Did you rebuild the database after you deleted the files?

You've got 1 option for sure (and a second if you have Microsoft Access). The least complicated is to use the song edit screen to delete any and all songs that have that diskid. then reimport using the bookid you prefer. If you've already imported something that has taken that number you've got complications. You'll have to use the edit screen to delete thos as well and then reimport those after you've finished with the first ones.
If you've got Access theres a way to do it without deleting and reimporting anything. If you've got it post back and I'll go through the procedure for you. Sam |
Note my clarifying changes in red.
