Crash
I posted the following post about a year ago and everything was fixed the last time by upgrading windows update. I am having the same problem again. This time using the windows update did not help. I have also uninstalled hoster and reinstalled which also has not helped. I am currently running version 3.316 on a Dell Inspiron 9300 XP service pack 2, 1.73 Ghz 2Gb Ram and a 69.8 Gb hard drive. The same problem was also happening with version 3.313.
Thanks, Travis I have been using Hoster for a while now and I must say that I am very pleased with the program. This is the first glitch that have ever had with the program. I have imported quite a few MP3+g's now. Every time I try to edit a name of one of these in the edit songs list, my computer issues a very loud system beep and then crashes. The computer imediately shuts down and I have very bad crackling from the speakers. Everything else in the program is working correctly. I am even able to delete songs from the same window. This problem only happens when I attemp to edit a song. Any ideas? Travis |
You have a motherboard or memory problem. That is the reason for the loud beep and the shutdown, not Hoster. Hoster may be triggering the problem but it is not in the software, but is in the hardware.
Dell has a downloadable diagnostics program that should tell you exactly what and where the problem is. |
when was the last time you opened up the cover and blew all the dust out ??
