More than likely your firewall is blocking it. You need to add MTU to your trusted sites.

I am able to access the MTU website and the help as well. Can you give me the URL for the Online database and I could try it with IE

Thanks

It goes through the MTU site and the URL is in the program so I don't know exactly what it is. Put "*.MTU.COM in your Trusted web sites and see if that helps. Could just be they aren't up for some reason.

As I said add MTU to your trusted sites. Internet Explorer has it's own internal restrictions.

Added MTU to trusted sites in IE still no joy. I have a laptop with the same version of Hoster and O/S. It seems to connect fine. Don't know what is blocking the other computer, which is of course my main karaoke system

are you looking for recent info, the database isnt that up to date.

Go to Control Panel/Windows Firewall and open it. Click add program. you may have to browse for it but add Hoster.exe and Microstudio.exe if you have it too. This should allow it through. Even if you have a different firewall most likely this one is on too.
