Our MTU Rackmount Show Coputer lost the mother board not quite 2 years old:e :f, need new coputer what laptop would you guys suggest.

Dell Inspiron 9300 with Nvidia 6800 video card
get them on ebay for a good price, i bought 3 there.
or inspiron 8200 same place, great price $300 for a laptop that realy works great. and will hold two 250 gig hard drives. Bob:g

I actually wouldn't recommend a laptop at all. Why not just put a new motherboard in the system you have. Will usually save you a ton of cash and most of the stuff you already have in the system including the case will easily transfer over. At most, you might have to buy a processor and some memory with it. Still way less money than a good laptop.

or will I need a registration reset?

Most likely your registration will have to be reset as that would be a major change of hardware.
