audio cd

haven't tried it yet, but can you import regular audio cd to hoster and add it to songdatabase? just wanted to add a little part sound byte in between songs while waiting for the next singer

Yes, you can. But, most people have a second source of music. IE: Winamp, or another player.

Yes but your TV screen will be black during play.

If you have Microstudio and Karaoke Home Producer, you can import the audio track to your harddrive with Microstudio, and then using KHP, create a text file with your advertising message(s), create and save as a cdg(bin) import into Hoster, and have it on display instead of just a blank screen for the duration of the song.

Using the same color for the text and sweep, there's no noticable "sweeping".

Don't tap the space bar for the last word until the end of the song.

Using page breaks you can display several messages for you and/or the house.

You can have fun with this creating "roasts" at birthday parties, etc. Do it all the time.

not really, 60% of them are regular cd's, but i've been buying most of them from itunes for about 2 years now, i hate to buy regular cd's and just be able to play a tune or 2, i used to be able to convert itunes music to mp3 but now you have to burn them to a cd and re-import ,then you still have to put in your password..so i just decided to just used itunes, since pcdj wont play acc's, .i buy the first 100 of new releases ( singles )so far i have over 5,500 songs

Beavis December 11th, 2007 08:59 PM

anytime :)

the program is a virtual CD burner. it acts like its burning a cd but is really ripping it back to your hard drive. it will add another cd-rom to your computer, so when you open my computer, you will see another cd-rom listed.

i was reading about it yesterday and it says that i have to make noteburner my default cd/dvd drive . would there be a conflict importing cdg's when i use hoster..

Beavis December 15th, 2007 08:30 AM

you can change it after you convert your songs. then when you want to convert more, just switch back.

if you have a home computer, you should install it there and just do your converting there, then move the songs to your hoster computer.

all it really does is burn your i-tunes to a virtual cd then back to the hard drive.
