You are going to have to post more information than that for anyone to be able to help you.

Sorry about that just freaking out a little. Turned everthing off restarted and the singers window showed back up. Just trying to get the lyrics on the other monitor. Had it for awhile but was not big enough to use. I'll figure this out someday.....

Use your mouse (it will go to the second monitor) to resize the lyrics screen just like you would on the main monitor. Or you can double click on it and it will go to full screen.

Thank you again for putting up with a newbie. And a nervous one at that.

second screen

I also have a problem with where the screen is too small on the second monitor display. The Hoster software is not showing me the second window on the laptop so that I can double click to resize it??

Slide your mouse over to the second monitor and either double click in the middle of the lyrics screen to make it full size or grab a corner holding left mouse button down and drag it to the size you want.

Define "Crazy"
The second monitor does this or the laptop monitor does it?

What sort of Tosh is it? It wouldn't by any chance be a Satellite 5100 series would it??? I have one & it started going crazy (actually the nVidia Go400 graphics card was dying). Apparently I was lucky to get the number of years I did out of it (abour 5). Even though the graphics card is removeable and can be replaced (but absolutely not worth the significant expense), I have not managed to track one down at a reasonable price. So now I have a Tosh that works OK - but cannot run dual screens:f :m :e
So I just picked up the latest Aldi weekly special & although it hasn't got the greatest graphics card, it will run dual screens and has a heap of great features and extras AND the internal DVDRW reads & writes CDG :) :c :g

I will be interested to find out what you mean by crazy :r
Beware of excessive heat - it will fry the graphics card if not the entire PC:e
The fact that yours goes crazy after its been running for 20mins makes me think you may be experiencing the first stage of this problem:e :e

You say

Does that mean that both the internal and ext monitor work OK - or just the internal???
Is your ext a TV??
Can you identify your GPU (video card) and amount of video ram??
I seem to recall having similar symptoms before my GPU died.
It gets really scary when all you can see is a black screen:e :e
If this is happening to your PC you will want to know the workround.
How old is the laptop & is it still under warranty???
