Bad Burn
 

After purchasing the hoster program I now have a million ?'s . The first is that out of the 5,896 songs i just loaded up, maybe 100 were not originals. I had archived all my cdg's ALONG time ago with a duplicator and needed to use a few burns. They did take alot longer to rip and inport and now I see and hear that there trashed. So I need to figure how to delete them and also need confirmation on using backed up cdg's thanks. Christopher

To delete song files go to Tools/Edit Songs. Search for the songs you want to delete, highlight them and delete them. Easy as that.
Hoster uses a very advanced error correction that can clean up a lot of glitches, but no program can produce any better than the file it is importing from. Depending on the quality of the copies you are using will determine the quality of the import. Hoster can only work with what you give it.

Thanks very much. I thought the reason was because it wasnt the original disc. It only happens when i imported a burned disc. Now what do I need from radio shack to make the connection from my laptop to my singers monitor and so forth???

That would depend on what type of connectors are on your computer and TV, and whether your computer has dual video capability with "extended desktop"
Please note that if you are planning on using this set-up for public performances, those copies without the original will not be legal.

No public just private. My hp pavillion zv6000 has only usb and the headphone and mic outputs. I'm using the headphones for my audio to my board and my tv has s-video and the usual rca jacks.

There should be an S-Video port on the right side of your notebook near the back (hinge). It looks like a mouse connection and is usually black.

You will need an RF converter from your local radio shack to connect via RCA or coax cable.

If your TV has S-video input you will just need an S-Video cable.

You will most likely have to turn on the port and configure your desktop to extend to the other screen.
