Karaoke Discs won't import into Hoster
 
can anyone help me please, ive got 4 karaoke discs with 10 albums on each, i bought them on ebay but hoster doesnt reconize the discs. what i need to know is how to take each album of the disc so i can put them on hoster individualy, i hope someone can help me as i use these discs the most in my gigs.

What kind of disc are they. (what format)
CD+G or Scdg (super cdg)
What Brand??.
we need to know to help you.

i dont know what make they are but i do know that they are johnny cool collection and it looks like ive been stung because they are copies, i know i shouldnt have copies but they are of good quality, so i need to know how to split the albums as i said there are 10 albums on each disc
please help if you can

If they are SCDG the songs are stored in DAT files with an index. Hoster can not read or import SCDG. There are programs that will convert them to readable formats. Try a search in Google for SCDG conversion.
I remind you that it isn't legal to use copies for your shows. I too have been burned on Ebay with a couple of copies. The thing to do is to report the seller to Ebay and they will revoke his seller status.

I moved this to Hoster Help Form where it fits better for future reference.

1. What version of Hoster are you using? Our later versions, which you can download the Demo version of 3.317, have more expanded import capabilities. If you're not using Hoster 3.317, I'd at least try the demo to see what happens.

2. Can Windows Media Player view the disc tracks? If not, you're probably out of luck all around. :s
