Singers' disc function

I have Hoster 3.316, and the problem I have is: all of a sudden, when I go to input a singer's disc, I get a message stating that my C drive is full and recommends I empty my recycle bin. My recycle bin is empty. Plus, if I retry it, it then gives me a message stating that the import is already in process...and nothing happens. I then have to close and restart Hoster to continue my show. Hoster will not work until I do so. So, when a singer brings their own disc, Hoster won't accept it. I have done all of my updates, discs cleaned, defragged , etc. Has anyone experienced this before? And if so, how did you remedy this? I have a 250 g drive, with 52% free space. There is nothing there to take up any free space. Thanks in advance, Daryl.

i'm not sure i might be off base here but are you importing a singers disc as a kma or a cdg ? if your importing it as a kma file and it wont take it ( already imported ), its because the song is already in your file..you should import a singers disc clicking the cdg button and add track..it gets deleted after the song is played..

I'm sorry, I guess I should have been a little clearer. I'm talking about when you are doing a show, and someone brings in there own disc, or, as sometimes happens; I get new discs in, and I have not added them to Hoster yet. It's when you pick "CDG" selection and add it to the songlist. It's the temporary download for the show. I've had one other problem with this once. In the past, after I upgraded to the next Hoster version, it would slow the music down that was playing, while it was importing. That problem went away after my NEXT upgrade. Now, it won't import at all. I have not done anything different. That's what so odd. I was curious if anyone else had this problem and how did they fix it?

Did the message specify C drive, or just say the drive was full and you naturally took it to mean C drive?

Reason I ask is a couple of years or so ago someone else was getting a message that the drive was full when trying to import, and it turned out that somehow or another the target drive on the import page had been changed to the cdrom drive instead of the desired folder on the hard drive, which would be easy to overlook.

Dunno in your case, but it looks similar.

It said C Drive

Has no one else had this problem? Since you cannot get direct help from Hoster, and you need to rely on the forum for possible answers and solutions, if someone has an idea or a solution, please respond. I haven't a clue, nor does the guy who built my computer. My C drive has plenty of space, but when I try to download a singer's disc at a show, or at home, when I hit CDG and go, the message comes back " C drive is full.

You can get help from MTU, by sending a web email from the Support page on the web site.
Apparently no one else has had this problem. Are you running XP or Vista?

WDEWDAD7 November 18th, 2007 03:09 PM

XP PRO. Thank you for responding.
