Computer Locks Up While Adding A Song Via Database Search

I have been experiencing a strange problem while adding a song via the Add Track Database Search. This only happens after looking up, and adding to the play list using the search function of Hoster. After you double click on the Book ID the computer monitors video screen goes blank and you can't get Windows to shut down by holding the reset button on the computer down.

You can only shut the computer down using the power switch on the computers power supply. This has also happened in the Edit Songbook area also in the past. I originally thought this was a deffective Monitor but have replaced it with a new and different brand of Monitor.

The PC will run all night long throughout a show as long as you don't add to the playlist via the song lookup function of Hoster. I have been dealing with this issue by looking up the song using the lookup feature but adding the song number after found in the search results using the normal add KMA song ID function.

Steve,
I've never had this problem and I don't use Vista. Sounds like a Vista issue. Vista has been causing grief for alot of folks it seems. Somebody who knows Vista will get you going, hang in there.

P.S. The link to your web site doesn't work.

1. Get all of the latest updates for your version of Windows using the custom button.

2. Make sure you have all of the latest drivers and firmware for your sound card and CD burner etc...

3. Reinstall Hoster

Do these three things and see if it clears up the problem.
