Hoster Error msg after new download

Upgraded to 3.316 this week. first crack out of the box i tried to import a cgd for a singer only to get an error message reading

" Error INFO II: failed with error 0x45d"

then it tells me CD drive not ready although it is the same drive i always use. (a plextor px 760a)

any suggestions? :? :? :?

The first thing I would suggest is to check the Plextor website and see if you have the latest firmware update for that drive. It should be version 1.07

i have the latest driver updates. any other suggestions?

Not the drivers...the firmware which is software on the DVD drive. You can check which firmware version you have by opening Hoster and look in Tools/CD/DVD drive defaults. The listing will have 1.0_ after Plextor DVDR PX-760A.

thanks, guys. did hoster change the way one chooses the default drive? use to i could just double click the drive under tools/cd drives default, but it now makes me choose it through the drop down menu. at any rate, it is working now.
thanks again!:)

I'm having this same error but not able to resolve it with the suggestions above. Anybody have more suggestions. I have a Plextor px-716uf and updated the latest firmware. Used to work until i upgrade my holster version.

You are going to have to give us more information than that. This is thread that is a year anf a half old and totally out-dated.
Please start a new thread and explain your problem thoroughly with additional information about operating system, version of Hoster, etc.
