A slower machine or a need for more meomry would cause that to happen. It may be time for a defrag as well.

Just Trying To Help

Has happened in the past, I just use an external player for customer discs.

I have has this happen on my Vista laptop. Fortunately, my XP Laptop does not do it. I am going to try and replace Vista on the backup laptop with XP and if it won't work I am going to sell the Vista laptop and buy a computer with XP installed. My XP laptop has 1 gb total memory and works great. I have 1.5 gb memory in the Vista machine and still get audio dropouts. Sorry for getting off topic. Not sure if your machine has Vista on it or not.

i generally don't want to import a singers disc, but this one was a brand new disc. and she just opened it that night and i know the lady that brought it..i wanted to use an ext. player..but thats the reason why i used a laptop to avoid bringing in extra gear..i might just have to use an ext. cd/dvd burner at least its smaller than a player i could still fit it in in my laptop case..i appreciate your suggestion though..thanks.

I have merged this problem with your prior thread as it is basically another instance of the same problem.

Please read the solution you found before, and the suggestions others made.

We are not aware this is a problem caused by the Hoster 3.317 program. However, I'll have engineering review your comments about not being in 3.316 but now showing up in 3.317. That may give us some insight.

We are doing a quick fix to create Hoster 3.318 today to fix a problem with the TEMP buffers not being cleared when playing KMA HDZIP type files. We'll look at your report also while we are in the code.

Billyo, we are trying to contact you, but don't know who you are.

Please go to http://www.mtu.com/support/customer-support.htm and scroll to the Web Email Form. Identify who you are, select SALES. In the text field, add your Forum name of Billyo, and the email you order with so we can identify you (it is different than your Forum email).

We are creating 3.318 and if we can address your problem here, we want you to test it today.
