clicks and no words when attempting to play song

I am rephrasing my problem so that I might get more responses. My problem is that Hoster is running on my laptop but when I try to play a song, I get clicks for the audio and no words show up on the little screens.

I am not computer literate so if I need to provide more information please be patient.

Thanks

Please make sure you are using Hoster version 3.316 I believe earlier versions had major issues with Vista.

is hoster the only one you're not getting any audio/video? , have you tried playing just a regular music cd or dvd movie to see if you have any audio/video at all using any program other than hoster?.( just trying to help )

Rephrsing your problem isn't going to help since several of us are trying to help in you other thread. This only confuses everyone. So please stick to your other thread.
