New Hard Drive

I want to install a new larger hard drive in my MTU laptop and get away from the external one. What is the procedure? I will bring it to a computer shop for this work. .......Thanks!

You do realize that your operating system and programs are on that drive. First you will have to make sure the drive you want to put in it is compatable as not just any drive will work. The laptop drives are smaller physically and have different types of connectors from those you see at Best Buy. Also you are not going to find anything much over 150 -200GB in storage space.
Using the external drive keeps you from losing all of your KMA song files if something happens to crash the laptop. That way you can switch to another laptop or computer and be up and running in a short time. If you move all your files to the internal drive then you lose everything if it crashes. I would think long and hard about doing this. Yes it would be less to carry, but the loss would be much greater.
If you do this be sure to take it to a laptop specialist who can clone your existing drive and load it to the new one. That should allow for no interruption in program use since it is going into the same computer. I would make sure I had a backup copy of the Hoster setup in case you do have to re-install.
