How to Play customer's CDG Disk on Hoster

Any ideas as to why I cannot play a customer's CDG disk on my Hoster version 3110?? I have read in the help file (and attempted to search the knowledge base) that this feature is not available in Hoster Light but I always thought I had the full version, not the light version. Am I wrong??? If I do have the full version can you tell me why or better yet how to play a customer's karaoke disk? Thanks much.

Click on the CDG button at the top, enter track #, Song title and singer name and click "Add Track" button. That is all there is to it:g .....except putting the disc into your default drive before you start the process.:s
You should be able to tell what version you have under Help/About Hoster.

Playing disk on Hoster

Wow! Another night owl. Thanks for replying so quickly but it didn't work.
BUT, I noted that you were responding at the same time I was correcting my post. I had listed the wrong version number. I am using Hoster 3110 not 3310. Is your answer the same? Hoster says my cdrom is ok for karaoke but nothing comes up at all. no words, no sound. Just cdrom not ready and it never gets ready. Thanks!!

other program

Make Sure no other music program is running when you open Hoster
so it gets control of the cdrom first.

Judging from that is it safe to say you cannot import from a dise either? If that is so, then have you gone through TOOLS, CD/DVD DRIVES DEFAULT, and designated the drive as default?

I agree with Beavis....it is definately time for an upgrade. Did the drive work before?
The other thing I would do is update your Windows too. Be sure you do the Custom update and not the Express.
