Where is a tel number or email addy for MTU

I tried to order Hoster with my MC debit card. I was prompted that "that type" card was not accepted. Are debit cards no longer accepted at MTU?

You will not find a telephone number or email address for MTU. The only way to contact them directly is with a Support Ticket from the website, or in these Forums.

I'm not having any success getting an answer. I've attempted to register so I can submit a support request, but when I try to login, it says info is not valid.:?

Register with the same email and password you use in here. That way you won't get confused later.

Might be a catch 22 situation. I'm not so certain that non-customers can access Ticket suppoort..If you've made no previous purchases, the support system may not have your email address on file.

I'm just guessing there.

I've taken the liberty of red flagging your post to a moderator.

I had considered that to be a possiblity! Thanks for flagging post to a mod. To be completely honest, I'm a bit nervy now about dropping 200 plus for something I can't get a question answered about.

I'll give it some time though, too many happy customers already exist for it to be all bad.:)

According to Admin, all three registration databases (store account, support, and forums) are totally separate, therefore that can't be it. Does it say which part is invalid? Maybe you are typing your User name or password incorrectly. Try the "Forgot Pass" link and the server will send you a new password automatically or will tell you that the user name is not registered.

Of course they are separate.

They would have to be by nature, which to a degree reinforces my thought that simply logging onto the forum may not gain access to the support tickets.

That still does not address the question...can anyone who has not used a product download email address post a support ticket?

ddouglass July 18th, 2007 04:19 PM

Yes

In the interest of clarification and closure of this topic, I did finally get to submit a ticket to support regarding my question.

It was a login issue. (jimw verses jim_w):r

I did try the link to email me my "forgotten" info earlier today, but it would not work. I tried it again a few minutes ago, and it worked.:?

Thanks to all that responded.

Jim

Answers my question, and at the same time surprises me that MTU would do that to support.....anyway, as the sun slowly sinks in the East, I'll get out a serving of humble pie, which I always keep handy in the fridge :e

Jim did you get this figured out?

I did get a response this evening from MTU support. They are guessing that maybe it was a glitch in the card processing portion of the website. Suggested I retry, and if I still have problems to reopen the ticket.

Thanks, Jim.

Copied from the main suport page:

"Since March 15, 2007, MTU no longer offers telephone support":w :w :w :w
