unrecognized Database format
 
Hi guys - New problem different computer. Getting the following:

unrecognized database format
'C:\program files\micro technology unlimited\hoster\databases\songs.mdb'. (3343)

it asks if i would like help when i click yes it says (cannot find the jeterr40.chm file)

it will not let me rebuild database for karaoke songs or anything

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Cookie

Delete the songs.mdb file and the backup (same folder) then rebuild.
The help is a holdover and hasn't worked for a while. MTU just hasn't taken that out.

That error message comes directly from the Microsoft Access JetEngine we incorporate in Hoster for free for our customers. It is THEIR error being reported, and THEIR .chm file that is not delivered with the JetEngine distributable code we are licensed to provided. :f

It has never worked.... no fault of MTU. Lord only knows what gibberish it would report for this error. :w

Sorry Boss....I forgot:s Maybe a blurb in the manual about the help not working. That could be because Microsoft no longer supports Access 97 version so the removed the page. I wonder if there is some way to redirect that link to a location in the manual?:c
