importing vcd
i never thought i would be doing these,( playing vcd ) i just recently been catering to an asian communities and restaurants and a lot of them are asking me if i could play a vcd..i could play them using windows media player,but i couldn't extend the video to the viewers screen, i know these questions been asked before and i tried searching the forum for answers, so not to bother anybody and for asking the same questions, for some reason couldn't find it..1) how do you extend the video to the viewers screen and 2.) how do you import vcd to play on hoster..

As to your second question currently they can't be imported into the database (I think we'll see that in Hoster 4.) but you can play them using the video tab at the top of the playlist, just navigate to to the .dat files on your HD or on the VCD. Sam |

Hi, Being from down under (OZ) we see a lot of VCD's (close to Asia) and I have been playing VCDs via Hoster for years. If you save all your VCD's in a folder, you can then direct Hoster via the video tab on the top row to that folder. You will need to rename all the songs so that you can recognise the song you want to play. There is one problem that I need to ask MTU and that is the video does not appear on my laptop. It does appear on the singers screen though.

Thats the way it works with videos.
i do have two dell 9300 laptops with nvidia 6800 video card that shows on both, tv and laptop. so i guess with right video card and settings you will get both. Bob |
