cd burner not showing up??
 

what would cause my cd burner not to show up in the writing or reading disc slot?? thanks

It will not read or write the CDG format
 

Microstudio detects all CDROM/CDR drives on your system. It then queries each drive to see if it is capable of doing CDG work. If not, when you select the Karaoke or CDG buttons, drives that cannot do CDG are not shown.

If you select the Audio or WAV buttons, your drive will appear. You need a CDG capable CDR drive. We certify our drives to work for CDG. We offer 16x and 24x IDE drives, and an 8x USB drive. You can find them on our site at https://www.mtu.com
