Re Songbook

Hi, Thankyou ddouglas for your wonderful help, i have now set up my external drive.
My question this time is, do i have to create my songbook data base using word after i have imported all our karaoke tracks, or do i do it each time after i have imported a disc.
I have been reading in the help manual but must be getting tired and cannot comprehend.
Thankyou once again.
Regards

When you import a new cd it is automatically added to the database. As far as the creating and printing your books, do it at what ever point you need to update them. We usually buy several CDs at one time, add them and then print out a list for our books.

Re Songbook Reply

Hi d douglas , thankyou for your reply, i am actually importing our whole karaoke disc range for the first time, as we have been playing our discs from our karaoke machines, but i guess i will just create the songbook each time after i have added a dozen or so discs, as we have approx 10,000 songs in our karaoke menue we are using at the moment.
Thankyou for you help,i guess i will be back again.:)

If you are talking about rebuilding the database, it isn't necessary. When you Import from CD or from Hard Drive, the new listings are added to the database. The only time you need to "Create Songbook" is when you are ready to print. So unless you need to print out a book every dozen or so CDs that you add, then don't bother with the songbook until you are done.
