Hoster skips when conducting search
 

When I have a person singing and I do a search during their number, the first time I do the search it causes the current song playing to skip. Then I can continue to search, and it doesn't skip.

But it skips every single time i do my first search during somone's song. Also, if I try to import a cd while a person is singing, it totally wrecks the song playing, cg and everything.

I kj at a bar that uses this software and I just purchased it for myself but cannot download it.

What version do they have at the bar?
Is it the graphics skipping or the audio?

it is really just the audio although sometimes it causes the graphics to get off with the music.

What are the specs on your computer? All the updates for all the components & Windows? Are you running anything else other than Hoster?

What version are they using?
If it isn't 3.316 then they need to upgrade, which is free if they have 3.301 or greater.
Also as Lonman said they probably need to get that computer connected to the internet and update their Windows (Custom), drivers for the sound card and CD drive, and firmware for CD drive.

using latest version of everything, just downloaded it yesterday. Don't know about the windows updates, will check that, although i have it set up for automatic. Why would itunes volume work and not hoster? Volume works on microstudio but not voicegone.

Automatic updates are only the "Critcal" updates so doesn't get and hardware updates or software updates that are not Critical.

Do you have two sound cards? Like one on-board (built in the motherboard) and an additional card plugged in?

The other possibility and I think this may be it could be your CD drive doesn't read the CDG files correctly. Since you say Microstudio plays the audio have you tried playing one of the kma files (Hoster imported file) in Microstudio to see if you get audio. If not then it is definately your drive.
