Can't Download Microstudio
 

I bought the product on 5/12/07 and when I try to download it I get the following error message:
Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function.mysql-pconnect]: Access denied for user: 'mtu_download@198.170.88.131' (Using password: YES) in /home/download/www/download.mtu.com/download.php on line 41
Unable to connect to database server!

I can download the upgrade from a different page, but that doesn't seem to work. What can I do?

Don't know for certain, but sounds possible you or your server may have a firewall program installed that's blocking the download. That's the first place I'd start checking.

Gator135 try it again. According to Admin there may have been a glitch but everything looks ok today.

Looks like MTU is having a server problem. Instead of getting #### off, why not put in a support ticket to let them know they have a problem. It appears to be all program downloads from store account purchases.

Our web master, who is very good, was baffled at this. The site download.mtu.com is on a separate server for faster downloads. The DNS to download.mtu.com was not resolving over the Internet to the IP address. He has added a direct IP link in addition in case the DNS resolution fails again in the future.

All is well at MTU land again. :)
