External Hard Drive
 

Hi i need help i recently upgraded my hp9035nr laptop to vista
i have my kma files on my external hard drive
f:/Karaoke
i installed hoster after upgrading to vista and it installed fine but when i try to build the database from the external drive it runs threw all the kma files on the drive i have 27281 but it runs threw them at a very quick rate and when it is finished it says o entroes created
if i move some of the files to my internal hard drive and then rebuild it does this fine
hoster recognizes the drive and so does windows
can someone please help
hoster is looking in the right file and recognizes the kma files are there vut when it rebuilds i get 0 entries

There are a couple other threads on this. It has to do with permissions on the external drive. You have to set the drive to "Allow" the program to use the files.
