Error upgrading Hoster Lite to v3.315
 
Hi, I just purchased the upgrade from v3.110 to v3.315, and receiving an error: "The Registration Code you entered is for a different product..." during install. I am installing the new version on a different machine, as my old one died.

I have the email from my original order, and am copy and pasting the registration code correctly. The upgrade order number is 50210 (ordered 2/23/07), and the original is #23624 (ordered 8/12/2005).

Note the email address I used to order is slightly different than the one I use in the forums. (Same, but with an 's' at the end of my name.)

Please help, as I was hoping to have my new machine up and running tomorrow. Thanks much.

did you get an email ? if its an upgrade i dont think you need to copy/paste in your reg.#.if yout got an email it should say upgrade and a download link..

since I installed the new version on a new machine, the registration number field didn't auto-populate.

After posting the message, I uninstalled the upgrade, installed the old version (successfully), and then tried the upgrade again. Now the registration code automatically fills in (I don't need to copy/paste), but I still get the same error.

go to support and submit a ticket..just make sure you have the same email add. when you first bought your hoster,they are pretty good in helping people..just tell them what your problem is and they will help you..which upgrade did you download the hoster upgrade or the hoster lite upgrade? if you have hoster lite and you downloaded the full hoster upgrade that might be the caused of your reg. problem
