BuildSongDBLog.txt

Got an error message About duplicate bookid's and can't seem to find the file C:\Program Files\Micro Technology Unlimited\Hoster\BuildSongDBLog.txt.
Don't see any instructions as to how to access.

You left one level out of the path.
Look in C:\Program Files\Micro Technology Unlimited\Hoster\Databases\BuildSongDBLog.txt.:g

BuildSongDBLog.txt

I open Program files
I open Micro Technology Unlimited
I open Hoster
I open Databases
I do not see BuildSongDBLog.txt as an option
I see 4 options:
Bucket.mdb
songs.mdb
songs_backup.mdb
temp.mdb
I try to open any of the 4 with notepad i never see anything simular to the illustration in the manual.
What now?

Try doing a search of the C: drive for the file name. If it can't be found then I guess for some reason it didn't create the file.
And no you can't open the database files with notepad.

I can't find the file on any of the three computers. I guess I will just go on with life.

The file would only be created if you have duplicate BookIDs, so if you have only had the problem on one computer then it should only be on that computer.
If you have this problem as listed in your first post and know you have songs missing from your list, then run the Merge songs database instead of the Rebuild. This will reassign those duplicates to another BookID.

BuildSongDBLog.txt

I did as You suggested. I was able to find the folder via windows explorer by clicking Hoster in the Tree pane. I do believe the .txt folder wasen't there before. I repaired the 2 duplications and eliminated the text in the folder. The icon for "BuildSongDBLog.txt" is still there showing the Folder Empty. My second computer showed a significent number of duplicates from 01/20/2006. I deleated the text from the folder and it still shows with folder empty. Apparently once a computer creates the folder "BuildSongDBLog.txt" it remains on that computer even if it is empty.
I guess that's fixed?
Thanks
Santo
