3.003 FreeDB
 

Some discs I am trying to load into 3.003 are not recognized by it's FreeDB, yet the data base in hoster does recognize the discs in question. The discs are not new releases. I dread the thought of typing the information into the program, because I am typing challanged. Can something be done about this?
In the past when I worked with Hoster I found the data base not to be up to date. I subscribe to a music program which is much more up to date.
This program has an ongoing cost but the information I gleen from it doesn't help Me with Hoster or Microstudio. I continue to type information into both programs. I would be willing to pay MTU for this service rather than than this other company if the information was as correct and up to date. I would like some feedback on this.

You might try copy and paste from your other program,
i have been typeing disc in for yrs, there seems to be no way around it.
free database is never up to date with cdg disc. Bob:f

I am trying to find NSC3078 in the free DB and I am not having any luck either. I realize that it's a matter of typing in the song, but I found it strange because Northstar Country is in the DB up to 56. I thought that this one would have been in there by now. Has anyone else had a problem with NS?

I am having a problen with DK discs which I have owned for over 4 years.
Did You understand what I meant about incorporating MTU with an outside
vender for a data base?
I have loaded 60 discs so far and have had 5 problems with discs:
Backstage
Chartbusters
Music Maestro
DK
I have over 900 discs remaining to load.
That's a lot of typing!

FreeDB is not owned or run by MTU. It is provide as a link to additional CDs (both audio and karaoke). Those entries in FreeDB have been added by people like you and me who sign up to be submitters. MTU does not have a way to submit any information to FreeDB.

If you don't find the information in FreeDB but do find it in the MTU database then use that. Why type it in if it is in one or the other database?

I do see the discs in Hoster 3.313 DB. The question is how do I transfer the info into Microstudio 3.003 ?

As Bob said "Copy and Paste is the only way unfortunately because the Hoster database isn't associated with Microstudio. You could try asking for it to be added to Microstudio in the New Feature Requests forum and see what they say.
We have all been there with many willing to pay extra and agree it needs to be addressed some way.
