Microstudio V3.0.0.1

I have a question, not a problem. Microstudio V3.0.0.1 does not display the karaoke song title or artist. Song titles are listed as track 01, track 02, etc. Artists are listed as unknown. Is this normal?

It is if you don't use the FreeDB to list them for importing. As long as FreeDB has a listing for the CD then you can get the information listed. Microstudio does not have the database that Hoster has. If you were to look at a CD with Explorer what you will see is Track01;Track02; etc.

Again, DDouglas, thank you for your invaluable input. Actually, now I feel a little dumb for asking my latest question, since your answer was so obvious. Based upon my question, you would never ascertain I have been involved with computers since 1989. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Glad you asked it. We "require" a Title and Artist entry to be able to use them in the Filename for each track (I won't elaborate how long and how many options we considered before taking this approach... :r).

You CAN edit the Title and Artist fields before importing, and your changes will be used in the File name. :g

Thank you for your reply. I understand your reasoning. Thanks again.<img>
