Audio songs in playlist nto completing

Last night I was playing an audio song just before a karaoke song in manual play. I noticed that the audio song stopped with 1 second left, and never achieved a "played" status. This shouldn't have happened. Has anyone else noticed this occurence.

If it IS just me, can anyone suggest what might be up with the file or my settings perhaps?

This was on my main laptop which has typically been very reliable and consistent, 1 gB Ram, 120 gB HD. P4 1.8 GhZ.

Bryant were you using manual or auto play? MTU is still working on the next update and I want to make sure they check this out.

It was manual last night for the mp3 songs.

Although, I have mentioned another post about video's on auto stopping at 1 sec. left as well. maybe there is a connection here.

I just tried an mp3 with CDGs before and after (turned on Keep Playlist as I know you use that). I was set to auto and it played through just fine with no hang up.
Have you tried a different mp3 to see if maybe it is just that file?

Please try it with manual as well, see if it does that. Try several mp3's.

The mp3's play okay in other programs. I'll check to see if it is only certain ones. If it is the case with certain mp3's, whatya suppose would cause that?

Could be the way they were ripped.

I've tried WMA's, MP3's and VBR MP3's and I can't get it to do as you describe.

The only thing I can suggest looking at would be that if you are using a DJ program that catalogues and calculates BPM's etc. It could effect the header in such a way that hoster doesn't know what to do with the info. If that's the case try ripping a song outside of the program and try it.

FYI: I'm monitoring this. Any other feedback would be helpful. :w

Mindonstrike and Songpony have reported a possible similar problem when the "Keep Songs After Played" option is DISABLED. We will be looking at these this week as we work on 3.313 Beta 3, along with several other reported problems in 3.313 Beta 2.

repeated audio/sound left in buffer

by the way the player that comes up in the edit songs also has
the problem of sound left in buffer in stop mode as well as just clicking the play button it seems to happen more it the edit songs player then in the show players but it does happen in both places

Actually the "similiar" problem I reported only occured when keep songs after played was NOT enabled

ADMIN NOTE: Thanks... I corrected my mistake above. :w

Oh, I did want to add to this that this also sometimes happens with video files as well.
Bryant

REferring to songs stopping with 1 second remaining, using either autoplay or manual, doesn't seem to matter.
