no video / no sounds
 

just installed the new microstudio and i imported a song last night which took forever, when i got done importing it and added it to a playlist..tried to play the view screen came up , no video, graphics and no sound ..

Did you uninstall the old version or did you do an upgrade install? For this version you need to uninstall the old and install the new. This eliminates any residual code from the old version, since this is an entirely new program.

Also, if you are using a Plextor Drive, try to import both with and without the HWEC to see which one is faster (some Plextor drives work better with it on and the others work best with it off).

This is found in the Tools menu Default Drives command.

i uninstalled the old microstudio and re-installed the new one, still getting no video/graphics and sound...had it set to default drive..tried switching hwec to yes/no .. re-started and still same problem..could it be my cd driver? since it took forever to import just a song?
